
BURNIN' BEAK TERIYAKI DIPPING SAUCE
This dipping sauce is an all-purpose, flavorful, versatile sauce. You can use it in a stir-fry, as a dip for wontons or egg rolls or drizzle it over a cucumber salad. The flavor combination is salty, tangy, sweet and nutty.
Both the Mild Habanero Pepper Jelly and the Hot Habanero Pepper Jelly would be perfect to use in this sauce to add just a pinch of heat.
Ingredients:
1/2 c Burnin' Beak Habanero Pepper Jelly
1 T dark sesame oil
1 T minced fresh, peeled ginger root
1 T orange juice
2 T soy sauce
1 small clove garlic, minced
Preparation:
1. Place ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until smooth.
2. Add to your favorite stir-fry ingredients near the end of cooking, use as a dipping sauce for wontons or egg rolls or spoon over a salad of sliced cucumbers, red bell peppers and scallion.
Makes @ 3/4 cup sauce
