Crockpot Meatballs With Pepper Jelly Sauce
Burnin' Beak Crockpot Meatballs With Pepper Jelly Sauce
It's the beginning of a new year, 2023, and we're determined to focus on better meal habits. Hearty and relatively low-fat, crockpot meatballs are a simple and tasty family-favorite dinner option.
What makes this recipe so simple is using pre-made, frozen meatballs found in most major grocery stores. If you have your own favorite meatball recipe, you can mix that up, bake them and then add them to the sauce instead of using the pre-made ones.
For the pepper jelly sauce, you can choose any of the pepper jelly flavors because any and all would be equally good. Feel like it's a mild night, the Mild Habanero Pepper Jelly is ideal to use. If you instead want some of that spicy heat, the Super Hot Habanero Pepper Jelly would be the perfect choice.
Keep in mind, you're combining the pepper jelly with several other ingredients which will dissipate the spicy heat. So choose the heat level that's right for you.
And, you can make the meatball recipe and serve it alone or in combination with the Cheesy Dipping Sauce. Beware: the Cheesy Dipping Sauce sends this recipe idea into the calorie-heavy danger zone but it sure is yummy!
